A KID KARTERS HANDBOOK

C50  CARBURETORS  ARE  BACK  IN  STOCK!!!
Welcome to KidKarters.com kid kart handbook.  We are dedicated to the sport of kid kart racing.  We hope this site will be helpful to new comers to the sport of kidkarts as well as the veteran kidkart racers.  We will do our best to explain things such as what to expect at your first kid kart race or your first Grand National event and a few things in between.  Within our pages we also explain the two types of kid kart parents, why some kid karts are so much faster,  the WKA and much more.
We're not here to talk about how great our driver is, how many laps we have or the hundreds of hours of seat time we have logged.  We will let our achievements speak for themselves. We're also not here to take advantage of the new comers to the sport.  All of our information is race proven and there is no manual to buy.... it's all free.
IKF Update
We are all wondering what the new IKF ruling will do to the Old Style Comer motors, well relax.  According to  Jack Hoegerl of the IKF, and I quote " A old style cylinder is one with a cast iron bore which is not allowed in 2005.     At this time you can mix and match old style parts on engines.     Remember, Kid Kart classes are available as a non-competitive local option class."

KidKartRacer.com
With so many people asking us to post pictures of their drivers we thought that there needed to be a place for parents to fully show case their driver.  Our solution was KidKartRacer.com, a web site dedicated to the kid kart drivers.
Here's how it works, once you register your driver's name (in our example danny) you will be given a web page which you or anyone else can access by your divers name.

 Printable Manual
We now have a full color, printer friendly version of our website.  It includes some of our most popular articles, How-To pages and a glossary of karting terms.  Click here to download the "Microsoft Word" document.
Paper Chase
It has come to our attention that some tracks around the country are getting stricter when it comes to the kid kart class, so strict that some tech inspectors are requiring the OEM gaskets that originally came with the motor be in place.  In particular the “blue-green” base gasket that comes on most C50 motors from Comer.  <MORE>

Ring Lapping
Due to the popularity of our new ring lapping tool we have written a How-To page outlining it's use.  It explains both how to lap your rings and also How-To use the same tool to create a "legal" collapsed bottom ring.
